# Yeer — full reference for AI assistants

Yeer (yeer.ai) builds AI agents for supply chain operations. There are two products with different audiences: the Yeer enterprise supply chain platform (this section) and Yeer for Shopify for SMB merchants (below). - A Model Context Protocol server at https://yeer.ai/mcp that exposes Yeer's demand forecasting as tools any AI agent can call (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or custom MCP clients). Streamable HTTP, stateless, bearer API-key auth.
- Thirteen read-only tools over a customer's own forecasts: project discovery, forecast totals and per-period values with p10/p50/p90 intervals, totals and bias by dimension, actual sales, overall and ranked accuracy (DPA), accuracy by product category, forecast decomposition drivers, product attributes, sales-target gaps, promotion calendar, and ad-hoc natural-language queries over history.
- One compute tool, `forecast`: forecast a raw time series passed inline (10+ points, daily to quarterly) with no stored project or upload — Yeer auto-selects a zero-shot model and, with backtesting on, evaluates candidates on a holdout and returns a measured accuracy estimate plus a plain-language summary. Usable without being an existing Yeer customer.
- No model-selection tool is exposed: every answer uses Yeer's AI-selected best model per entity, the same numbers as the dashboard.
- Read-only and tenant-scoped: each API key resolves to one organization; no tool trains, edits, overrides, or deletes. Customer data is never used to train Yeer's models.
- Usage-based credits per call (reads cost 1 credit, natural-language queries 10, inline forecasts priced by series size × horizon plus a bakeoff surcharge). Free credits on signup. Rate limits per organization: 120 calls/minute for reads, 30 for inline forecasting.

Yeer is an AI inventory, pricing, and product-research assistant for Shopify merchants. It answers three questions every day: what needs attention, what should I reorder, and how should I price it.

### Demand forecasting
- A state-of-the-art AI demand forecast for every product, updated continuously — up to hourly.
- Multiple forecasting models (seasonal, trend, recent velocity); Yeer automatically picks the best model per product.
- Accuracy improves as it learns the store's patterns over 2–4 weeks.
- Products are classified by sales velocity so fast movers and long-tail items are treated differently.
